Looking for a family holiday in Tuscany that combines swimming, beaches, nature and fascinating places to explore? Camping Costa d’Argento Village Club is tucked into the beautiful southern Maremma, near Capalbio, where Mediterranean greenery meets the Tyrrhenian coastline. The setting feels wonderfully rural, yet the sandy beaches of the Costa d’Argento are only a short drive away.
What makes the resort particularly appealing for families? There are two outdoor swimming pools, including a dedicated children's pool, together with a playground, tennis court, five-a-side football, entertainment and plenty of space to relax. In July and August, the entertainment team adds games, tournaments and activities for children and adults, while the restaurant, pizzeria, bar and minimarket make everyday holiday life wonderfully convenient.
The beach is another major attraction. During July and August, a complimentary shuttle operates to Macchiatonda beach for guests staying in accommodation, making seaside days particularly easy. Pitch guests can also use the shuttle for a small supplement.
Who will enjoy Costa d’Argento most? We particularly recommend it for families with younger and school-age children who like combining pool time with outdoor adventures. Older children and teenagers will appreciate the sports facilities, while adults have the chance to slow down among the Maremma countryside.
And the location is excellent for exploring. Medieval Capalbio, the extraordinary Tarot Garden, Lake Burano, Orbetello and Monte Argentario are all within easy reach. It is a lovely choice if you want Tuscany to feel natural, relaxed and distinctly different from the classic Florence–Siena itinerary.
