About Camping hu Birkelt village

What happens when a forested hill in Luxembourg's Little Switzerland meets a water park with a dome that opens at sunrise? You get hu Birkelt Village, a five-star family campsite spread over 12 hectares, just 2 km from the castle village of Larochette and right in the green heart of the Mullerthal. Where will the kids spend their days? Mostly in the water park, which is included in your booking: a 450 m² outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool, a children's pool and two water slides, open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Add the hu Team mini club for ages 4-10, a kids club for ages 11-16, sports tournaments and evening shows, and nobody will ask what to do next. And where do you sleep and eat? Choose a mobile home, a glamping tent or a pitch for your camper van, then refuel at the restaurant serving international and Italian dishes, the takeaway with pizza and burgers, the bar and the gelateria. A mini supermarket covers the daily basics, and bikes can be rented on site for rides through the valley. What about beyond the gates? The ruins of Larochette Castle are a 15-minute walk away, the Schiessentümpel waterfall is 8 km away, and the 112 km Mullerthal Trail winds through the Mëllerdall Nature & Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark. Luxembourg City, home of the Grand Ducal Palace, is 35 km down the road. The season runs from late April to mid-September, so pick your week and pack your walking shoes.

The main pool sits under a large dome that opens when the sun comes up, and the 450 m² outdoor pool is made for sunny afternoons, with sunloungers for relaxing. A heated indoor pool keeps everyone swimming whatever the weather. The children's pool has slides for little ones, and the water park has two slides in total. Wear your wristband, which is compulsory, and dive in daily between 10:00 and 18:00.

Great holiday park in beautiful surroundings
