Camping Tamarit sits on the Costa Dorada between Mediterranean woodland, rocky coastline and sandy beaches. “My first tip for Camping Tamarit is simple: make the beach part of your daily routine. The resort has direct access to Tamarit Beach, so there is no need to pack the car every time the children ask for a swim. The combination of sand, Mediterranean water and the resort’s own pool complex means families can easily alternate between beach and pool days. If you have younger children, I recommend getting familiar with the activity programme soon after arrival. The mini club, playgrounds, children's entertainment and water facilities are among the strongest reasons families choose Tamarit. Recent Vistacamp guest feedback particularly praises the children's animation and the wide choice of facilities. For accommodation, consider the location carefully rather than simply choosing on price. The resort is large, and some areas are more convenient for the pool and beach than others. Camping pitches range from approximately 90 to 120 m², with water and electricity included. Food is another advantage. There are several restaurants and bars, including Brisa directly beside the sea and La Dolce Vita next to the pool. During busy periods, we recommend reserving restaurant tables in advance. Finally, allow time for Tarragona rather than treating it purely as a beach holiday. Its Roman amphitheatre, old town and Mediterranean setting make an excellent cultural day out.
