For the beach, we would recommend making the short journey to Plage du Ster rather than limiting your holiday to the campsite. It is close enough for a spontaneous afternoon by the sea, while the wider coastline around Penmarc’h is excellent for walking and cycling. The area around Pointe de la Torche is especially rewarding if your family enjoys surfing or dramatic Atlantic scenery. Cycling is another excellent way to experience the region. Bike hire is available, and the surrounding countryside provides a much more intimate view of the Pays Bigouden than simply driving between attractions. If you enjoy local food, keep an eye on the campsite restaurant and nearby fishing ports. Le Guilvinec is particularly worth visiting for its working harbour and strong seafood identity. Finally, allow time simply to enjoy the campsite itself.
