Surroundings
The immediate 10km radius around Resort Polari is a picturesque blend of Mediterranean charm. You’ll find lush, fragrant pine and olive groves providing cooling shade, transitioning into a rugged, indented coastline. The landscape features scenic pebble bays, hidden rocky coves, and the gentle rolling hills of the Istrian peninsula, all framed by the sparkling, turquoise hues of the Adriatic Sea.
“My biggest tip is to embrace the 'campsite life' early in the morning. Many guests recommend taking a brisk walk along the coastal path toward Rovinj as the sun rises—it’s the most peaceful time of day.
Choose an accommodation in the central area; it’s closer to the main pools and restaurants, which is a lifesaver when you have younger children. If you enjoy snorkeling, pack your gear! The area around the 'Punta Eva' section of the beach has some of the clearest water I’ve seen in Istria.
For dining, while the onsite restaurants are great, don’t miss out on trying a traditional 'Istrian Platter' at one of the smaller local tavernas in the nearby village.
Also, a pro-tip from frequent visitors: bring bicycles! The campsite and the road into Rovinj are very bike-friendly, and it’s much faster than finding parking in the city center. Finally, don't worry about the size of the resort; it’s huge, but that’s its strength—you can always find a quiet, private corner in the pine forest even in the middle of peak season. It’s all about finding your own rhythm!"”
