Opening in May 2027, hu Eraclea Mare is set to be one of the biggest new family open-air resorts on Italy's Venetian Adriatic coast. Spread across around 100 hectares, it combines pine forest, lagoon landscapes and easy access to the sandy Adriatic with an extraordinary 9-hectare waterpark. In other words: pack the swimwear first and ask questions later.
The waterpark is the headline attraction, with lagoons for younger children, water games, slides, Olympic and semi-Olympic pools, an indoor heated pool and a huge 40,000 m² sunbathing area. There is also a spray park and pool bar. Beyond the water, families have tennis, padel, football, volleyball, yoga, canoeing, mountain-bike routes, adventure activities, ziplining, paintball and mini-golf to choose from.
Accommodation is centred on modern mobile homes and very spacious pitches, with pitches ranging from approximately 90 to 200 m². Mobile homes feature generous outdoor living space, covered verandas and outdoor showers.
Who will love it most? Families with children aged roughly 4–15 are particularly well matched, thanks to the mini club, junior activities, water attractions, sports and evening entertainment. Teenagers are unlikely to be bored either, while parents have plenty of opportunities for good food, cycling, wellness and an occasional peaceful moment.
And the location? Excellent. Caorle and Jesolo are close, while Venice, Murano and Burano make memorable day trips. For nature lovers, the Laguna del Mort and surrounding pine forests provide a quieter counterpoint to the resort's energetic holiday atmosphere.
