Within 10 kilometres, the landscape combines pebble and sandy beaches, Mediterranean vegetation, coastal promenades and the dramatic cliffs of Isola di Dino. Inland, the terrain rises towards wooded foothills and the Pollino National Park, while nearby Aieta and surrounding villages add attractive hill scenery.

“I would suggest making the most of International Camping Village’s exceptional seaside setting rather than looking for a traditional pool complex. The beach is the real star here, and the campsite’s position makes it wonderfully easy to combine swimming, relaxing and evening walks without constantly getting into the car. The coastal promenade is particularly useful for families, as you can cycle or walk towards Praia a Mare and enjoy the town at your own pace. For a special family outing, we recommend booking a boat excursion around Isola di Dino. The island’s caves and dramatic cliffs are one of the defining sights of this section of Calabria, and the island is close enough to make the excursion easy even with younger children. If your children want more action than the beach provides, AquaFans Water Park is nearby and makes an excellent change of scenery. For older children and teenagers, consider a day in the Pollino National Park, where rafting and outdoor adventures add another dimension to the holiday. When booking a pitch, we recommend checking exactly what shade and pitch position you prefer. Guests frequently praise the generous pitches and shaded setting, although some shaded areas use sun-screening nets rather than natural trees. One practical tip: the campsite observes restricted vehicle movement during parts of the day, particularly in high season, so plan your arrival and excursions around the internal traffic timetable.
