For families, I suggest alternating beach days with excursions into Mali Lošinj. The harbour area becomes wonderfully lively during the evening and offers excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood and local Croatian dishes. Many guests also recommend taking a boat excursion around the nearby islands or hiring a small boat from the marina to explore hidden coves. Diving and snorkelling enthusiasts should bring their equipment if possible. The waters around Lošinj are exceptionally clear and regularly praised by experienced divers.
