The campsite is a few meters away from the coast and is an oasis amongst hotels, holiday apartments shops and restaurants. The landscape is dominated by the Adriatic coast, broad sandy beaches which are extremely popular in summer, coastal pine trees and the flat Po Valley plain. Viserba sits beside a gently urbanised shoreline, while inland areas become greener around the Marecchia River. Beyond Rimini, low rolling hills rise towards Monte Titano, creating scenic countryside, vineyards, fields and historic hilltop villages for family excursions.

“My first tip is to make the pool and beach combination part of your daily routine. The resort works particularly well when you can alternate between the swimming pool and Adriatic beach without needing the car. The pool has a generous 600m² area, hydromassage features and water sprays, while the children's section provides shallower water and games. The maximum depth of 1.30 metres also makes it comfortable for many families with younger swimmers. If you have small children, take advantage of the mini club and playground, but don't overlook the wider sports programme. Older children and teenagers have plenty of opportunities to become more independent through beach volleyball, football, padel and other activities. The resort also has a substantial entertainment area with stage and children's facilities. For a day away from the resort, my recommendation is Italia in Miniatura first. At around 4 km away, it is exceptionally easy to combine with a relaxed afternoon back at the pool. For a bigger family adventure, choose Aquafan or Oltremare, while San Marino offers something completely different with its mountain setting, historic streets and spectacular views. I also recommend using the local bus rather than driving into Rimini. The dedicated Via Toscanelli – Rimini Family Village stop is right beside the resort, and bus route 4 connects the village with Rimini. The service runs into the evening, making it practical for families wanting dinner or an evening stroll in town. Pet owners should look closely at the accommodation category when booking. The resort is particularly well equipped for dogs, including a dog beach, dog pool, walking areas and dog-friendly accommodation options. Cats are also accepted in designated accommodation. Finally, remember that cars cannot be driven inside the village, so pack anything you need for the day before leaving your vehicle in the designated parking area. This helps maintain the pedestrian-friendly character of the resort.”
