About Camping Golden Sunset

Ever wondered what a Greek summer holiday looks like when the kids can slide, splash and sprint to the beach, all from the same address? Golden Sunset Camping, on the Peloponnese coast near Alissos, is built around exactly that idea. Its water park has two pools, a Jacuzzi and 4 waterslides with 6 routes between them, and the fine sandy beach on the Ionian Sea is a minute or two away on foot. What about the days when you want a break from the water? The campsite has football, basketball and beach volleyball courts, a minimarket and souvenir shop, and a restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes. Trees give plenty of shade to the pitches, and you can choose a mobile home when you prefer to arrive, unpack and head straight for the pool bar, which looks out over the sea towards Patras. And when the sun goes down? In high season, from July to early September, evenings come with Greek nights, folkloric shows, traditional dance lessons, Zumba, cooking classes and wine and food tasting. The water park is the star of Golden Sunset. Two outdoor pools are joined by a big Jacuzzi and 4 waterslides that add up to 6 different routes, so thrill-seekers and happy splashers alike have plenty to do. Campsite guests enjoy free entry to the pools and slides, and free sun loungers and parasols line the surrounding terrace. Lifeguards keep an eye on the water, which gives parents a chance to relax. The pools are open from late May to mid-September.

Mobile home check-in starts at 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00; late arrival is possible with a prior request. The campsite offers an internet point, first aid and an information point. Bed linen can be rented at €20 per double bed and €15 per single bed, ordered 7 days in advance.

Dogs up to 35 kg are welcome on request, so mention yours when booking and ask for written confirmation. The fee is €8 per day or €50 per week, plus a €20 cleaning fee payable on site. One dog per unit is allowed, and your dog needs a passport, a microchip and a recorded rabies vaccination date.
