Camping Park Umag occupies a vast stretch of Istrian coastline between Umag and Novigrad, where gently rolling countryside meets the Adriatic Sea. The campsite itself is predominantly green, with mature deciduous trees, grassy areas and an oak-wooded northern section. Immediately beyond the grounds are rocky and pebble beaches, small coastal coves, pine-shaded stretches and clear Adriatic water. Inland, vineyards, olive groves and agricultural fields create the classic Istrian landscape, dotted with small villages and wine estates. Within 15 kilometres, you can switch effortlessly between seaside resorts, countryside lanes, local villages and the historic streets of Umag and Novigrad.

“Camping Park Umag is enormous, so my first piece of advice is simple: choose your location as carefully as your accommodation. The Canova area puts you close to the newer pool complex, beach and children's facilities, while the Central Area is particularly convenient for restaurants, sports and reception. If you are travelling with toddlers or a buggy, proximity can make a surprisingly big difference. Current guest feedback frequently mentions the size of the campsite and the walking distances between different facilities. If you prefer peace and quiet, I would avoid choosing a pitch immediately beside the evening entertainment area or the road behind the campsite. Guests have specifically mentioned evening music and traffic noise, particularly in some of the rear accommodation areas. For families, Canova is a particularly attractive choice because the pool, beach and children's facilities sit close together. The newer pool complex gives younger swimmers a dedicated area, while the covered baby pool is a useful option when little ones need gentler water play. Don't rely on the campsite supermarket for your entire holiday shop. It is wonderfully convenient for bread, drinks and essentials, but larger supermarkets around Umag and Novigrad can be better for a substantial grocery run. Finally, bring bicycles if you can. The coastal area around Karigador, Umag and Novigrad is excellent for cycling, and it is a much more enjoyable way to explore nearby villages than moving the car every day.”
