However, I recommend the deeper woodland zones if you enjoy peaceful evenings, birdsong mornings and cooler temperatures during hot summer days. The pool complex is a major highlight, but experienced visitors suggest avoiding peak midday hours when the sun is strongest and activity levels highest. Early morning swims are wonderfully refreshing, while late afternoon offers a calmer atmosphere and softer light. I also recommend hiring bicycles on arrival — the surrounding area is incredibly flat, safe and perfect for cycling with children. Many guests cycle daily to nearby beaches rather than driving.
