About Camping Au Val de Loire en Ré

What happens when a heated pool, a pine forest and the Atlantic coast join forces? You get Camping Au Val de Loire en Ré, a four-star family hideaway in the heart of Île de Ré. The 4 ha park is shaded by pines on the edge of the Evières forest, and your mobile home or pitch is never far from the fun. Where do the kids spend their day? Splashing, mostly. There is a heated outdoor pool, a heated paddling pool and a children's water-games area, plus water slides for the braver ones whenever the weather plays along. Dry land is just as busy, with a playground, bouncy castle, adventure park with zip line, multi-sports field and archery in high season. Mini-Club, Kids-Club and Juniors-Club complete the line-up, while in July and August dance evenings, shows and karaoke take over the evenings. And the beach? Les Grenettes and Gros Jonc are about 900 m away, easy to reach on foot or by bike, and the island's cycle paths begin just 200 m from the park. Pedal to the villages of La Flotte and Saint-Martin, discover the salt marshes, then come home for a swim in the warm pool. Planning a day out? La Rochelle and its aquarium are about 25 km away, reached over the 3 km bridge. Back at camp, the snack bar serves pizzas, bread and pastries, and the bar stays lively from 08:00 to 23:00 in July and August. Four stars, pine-scented calm and plenty to do: that is a family holiday sorted.
