Camping Delle Rose sits at around 102 metres above sea level in the lush Val Nervia, near Isolabona in western Liguria. The campsite is surrounded by pine, mimosa, eucalyptus and chestnut trees, creating a naturally green setting that feels wonderfully different from the busy coastal resorts. What about swimming? You have two outdoor pools, including a shallower children's pool, with a spacious sun terrace, loungers and umbrellas. There is also a playground, table tennis, pétanque, bicycle hire, organised excursions, a bar, grocery shop, restaurant and wood-fired pizzeria. Summer entertainment and children's activities add extra appeal for families. We particularly recommend Camping Delle Rose for families with children up to around 12, especially those who enjoy nature, swimming and exploring rather than a huge purpose-built holiday resort. The campsite is known for beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, clean facilities, good restaurant and attractive pool area. So, is the sea close? The Riviera coast is approximately 12–15 kilometres away, while medieval Dolceacqua is around 5–6 kilometres away. You can also reach Monaco in roughly 35 kilometres. “My first tip is to make the campsite itself part of your holiday, rather than treating it simply as a base for the coast. The setting is one of Camping Delle Rose’s strongest features. Guests regularly highlight the beautiful natural scenery, peaceful atmosphere, spacious pitches and mature trees, while families particularly appreciate the pool and child-friendly facilities. Campers, if you are travelling in the warmer months, ask about a shady pitch. The campsite is naturally green and many areas benefit from tree cover, although the amount of sunshine varies between pitches. This can make a real difference during July and August. For families, I would plan at least one relaxed pool afternoon. The main pool is deeper and the second pool varies from approximately 60 to 90 centimetres, making it much more suitable for children. Pool access, sun loungers and umbrellas are included for campsite guests. Food is another reason to stay onsite. The restaurant focuses on traditional regional cooking, while the wood-fired pizzeria is an easy choice when children want something familiar. Guest comments also regularly praise the restaurant and the friendly welcome. I would definitely walk the historic Cupeira path towards Isolabona. It takes around 45 minutes and passes old stonework, agricultural remains and viewpoints across the Nervia Valley. Finally, don't try to squeeze Monaco, the coast and the mountain villages into every day. Alternate a sightseeing day with a pool day; that is the best way to enjoy the character of Camping Delle Rose.”
