“Take advantage of the morning hours. The beach at La Móra is at its most peaceful before 10:00 AM, making it the perfect time for a sunrise swim or a quiet coffee on the sand.
Regarding accommodation, I advise when possible to choose a pitch or mobile home in a shaded area. While the entire site is beautiful, the spots nestled deeper into the pines offer a wonderful natural canopy that keeps your home away from home much cooler during the peak of the Spanish afternoon sun.
For dining, you should not limit yourself to the resort’s restaurant. While it is very convenient, the surrounding area is a goldmine for authentic Catalan cuisine. Take a short trip into Tarragona for a "tapas crawl" through the old town—the local seafood there is simply unmatched.
Finally, if you’re traveling with energetic kids, prioritize your PortAventura tickets in advance; the queues can be long in high season, and having a pre-booked entry will save you hours of waiting in the heat.
