“One of my top tips is to rent bicycles upon arrival. The coastal path between Coma-ruga and Calafell is exceptionally flat and beautiful, making it a stress-free way to find your favourite local ice cream shop or restaurant in the evening.
If you’re visiting with toddlers, ask for a bungalow in the "Tropical" area—guests often praise this section for being vehicle-free and especially safe for children to run around.
For those planning on a big day out at PortAventura, we recommend hitting the road early in the morning to beat the summer heat and the longest queues, then returning to the campsite in the evening for a relaxing swim in the heated pool.
Don’t forget to check the weekly animation schedule; many families report that the mini-club staff are fantastic at engaging children, giving parents a much-needed window of time to enjoy the poolside bar.
Finally, while there is a supermarket on-site, a quick drive into El Vendrell provides larger shopping options if you’re planning on a big BBQ feast at your pitch or terrace.”
