“My first tip for La Torre del Sol is to embrace the sheer choice. It is a big resort, so don't feel that you have to do everything. Pick your favourite pool, find your preferred beach route and make those your holiday headquarters. The direct beach access is a genuine luxury — particularly when somebody inevitably announces that they have forgotten their goggles. For the aquatic complex, I would arrive early during the busiest summer weeks if having a particular sunbed matters to you. Recent summer feedback mentions the pool area becoming busy, and some guests have found loungers hard to secure later in the morning. The waterpark itself is the star attraction, so allow plenty of time rather than treating it as a quick swim. Accommodation location is worth considering too. This is a large, lively resort and the evening entertainment can create more atmosphere in some areas than others. If you prefer early nights, I would request accommodation away from the principal entertainment and nightclub areas. The campsite supermarket is extremely convenient for breakfast supplies and essentials, but prices can be higher than supermarkets outside the resort. If you have a car, make a larger shopping trip in Mont-roig or Miami Platja. And don't spend the whole holiday behind the campsite gates. Cambrils is excellent for an evening by the marina, while PortAventura deserves a full day. My ideal La Torre del Sol combination? Beach before lunch, waterpark afterwards, tapas in Cambrils and a campsite show to finish the evening.”
