“My first tip for Camping Le Roussillon is to take advantage of the campsite's position rather than treating it simply as somewhere to stay. Saint-Cyprien is close enough for an evening outing, while the beach shuttle means you can leave the car parked and enjoy a completely relaxed beach day. I would also make the pool part of your morning routine. The aquatic area is family-sized rather than enormous, so during the busiest weeks it pays to arrive earlier if you want the best choice of loungers. The new waterslide adds considerably more fun for school-age children, while the paddling area works nicely for younger swimmers. If you prefer peace and quiet, ask for accommodation away from the principal entertainment area. Recent guest feedback often highlights the calm atmosphere and welcoming team, but summer animation naturally creates more energy in the evening. For shopping, the campsite's basic grocery facilities are useful for bread and essentials, but I would make a proper supermarket trip in Saint-Cyprien. A car is also worthwhile for exploring the wider region. And do make time for Collioure. It is close enough for a half-day trip, although parking is much easier if you arrive early. For another family favourite, Aqualand is only a few kilometres away. My ideal day? Pool first, beach after lunch, an early-evening wander around the marina and then back to the campsite for the entertainment. Very little driving, plenty of variety — exactly how a family holiday should feel.”
