“Arrive early and ask for a pitch along the Bave - you get shade from mature trees, the sound of the river and that real Quercy holiday feeling. The heated pool is at its quietest around 10am, ideal for little ones before lunch. Don't miss the Monday evening Marché Gourmand on the campsite in July-August: local producers, duck, cheese, walnut cake, all tasted at communal tables. Walk into Saint-Céré on Saturday morning for one of the best markets in the Lot, then cycle back via the greenway along the Bave. For Padirac and Rocamadour, book online the day before and go first thing - you will be back for a swim by 2pm. Bring a CEE to French adapter for electric, or rent one at reception. Families appreciate that cars can stay next to the mobile homes and pitches, so unloading is easy.”
