About Camping Les Salisses

On the sun-drenched coast of Occitanie, where the vineyards of Languedoc meet the Mediterranean's wide, wild blue, lies Camping Les Salisses — Vias-Plage. An unforgettable stay between "Dolce farniente" and fiesta, promises the house — and it delivers. Classified four stars, Les Salisses offers that rarest of balances: utterly relaxed, quietly well-appointed. Located between Cap d'Agde and Béziers, Vias is an ideal holiday destination, and Les Salisses sits just 800 meters from the beach — a 10 to 15-minute stroll down Avenue de la Mer, through a pleasant street with cafés, shops and restaurants, to a fine, sandy beach with boulevard and two beach pavilions serving sunbeds, cocktails and delicious meals. The sea is close, but the water park steals the afternoons. You will find an espace aquatique composed of 3 swimming pools and an espace solarium for a gentle tan. Think large aquatic area with 3 swimming pools: outdoor with slide, Californian with waterfalls and children's area, and heated covered. Add whirlpool, children's pool with mushroom fountains and faux rocky islands, bubbling waterfalls, paddling pools for toddlers, winding slides, and a wellness corner with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Sun terrace, sun loungers, and that slow, southern French light. Facilities are designed for carefree living. Restaurant, snack/bar with take-away dishes, supermarket and laundry, free Wi-Fi at the bar, plus Bar restaurant Le Niagara open every day with a diverse carte and convivial welcome. On site: playground, indoor playroom and foosball, fitness room for over 18s, multisport courts, tennis, table tennis, petanque, bicycle rental, and large TV screens for sports. In July/August, sports activities — aquagym, zumba, water-polo, footing — plus tournaments and a Children's Club for 5-12 year olds, free Monday to Friday, with treasure hunts and water games. What to do around? Everything the Hérault does best. Agde and Cap d'Agde, high tourist places in the region, with its volcanic cliffs and Aqualand; Béziers and Les Écluses de Fonseranes, emblematic sites of the Canal du Midi; Sète and the Pond of Thau for a gourmet and authentic getaway with oysters straight from the lagoon; Pézenas, city of art and history with incomparable charm; the Grau d'Agde for a typical day by the sea; plus Plage de Farinette and Plage du Libron nearby, and Béziers-Cap d'Agde airport just 6 km away. Three aquatic areas make this a real water holiday. The Olympic-style outdoor pool has a slide, is warmed by the sun and is open from 10:00 to 19:00, and it hosts aquagym, aquabike and crazy dance classes. The Californian pool covers 500 m² and comes with a new slide, waterfalls and a children's area. Upstairs, a covered pool on the roof terrace is 1.60 m deep and heated in spring; from early summer the rooftop pool and its solarium become a naturist area. Pool access is included in the price. A wristband (€1 per person) is required on the campsite.

The bar-restaurant by the entrance welcomes everyone for lunch and dinner with fish, skewers, grills, salads and pizzas. The bar is open from 08:00 to 02:00 for coffee, soft drinks, cocktails and tapas. A pizza kiosk and takeaway cover quick bites, a snack bar opens in July and August, and the bread depot takes care of breakfast.
