The campsite sits inside Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Regional Park, with Lake Massaciuccoli to the east and the Tyrrhenian coast to the west. Flat terrain dominates, while the Apuan Alps rise dramatically beyond the northern coastal plain, nearby.

“Make the most of the free beach shuttle during the summer season. Although the coast is perfectly reachable by bicycle or on foot, the train shuttle is especially useful when travelling with younger children, beach equipment or a tired family after a long afternoon in the sand. The service operates seasonally, generally from June into early September. Recent guests have particularly appreciated the newer, clean mobile homes, air conditioning, useful kitchens and outdoor decking areas. The pool area is worth prioritising, especially on days when everyone needs a break from sightseeing. The three pools give you an easy alternative to the beach, and guests regularly highlight the pool and children's entertainment as strong points. For provisions, the on-site market is handy for breakfast items and holiday essentials, but for a larger shop we recommend driving into Torre del Lago. There are supermarkets in the village, including a Coop. Finally, leave some space in your itinerary for Lucca and Pisa rather than filling every day with beach time. The campsite's position makes it particularly good for combining classic Tuscan sightseeing with a relaxed family camping holiday.”
