“Make the most of the campsite's beach-and-pool combination. You do not need to choose between a traditional seaside holiday and a pool holiday here. Start the morning on the private sandy beach, return for lunch, then spend the afternoon around the pools when the children are ready for slides and water games.
For families with younger children, I would particularly choose accommodation within a comfortable walking distance of the pool and beach rather than simply choosing the largest accommodation. The site is very large, and guests have noted that walking distances can vary considerably depending on where accommodation is located. With younger children, the distances can be a little long.
If your children are around 4–12 years old, make use of the organised activities rather than trying to entertain them yourselves. The Mini, Young and Junior Clubs, sports, beach games and evening entertainment are a major part of the holiday experience. The programme normally operates from late May until mid-September.
For teenagers, I would recommend combining the campsite's sports and entertainment with a bicycle ride into Cesenatico. The cycle routes make reaching the centre much more enjoyable than taking the car, and the canal harbour is particularly atmospheric towards evening.
Food is another reason not to rush away from the resort. There are restaurants, bars, snack facilities and a supermarket onsite, so you can easily alternate between self-catering and eating out. Guest comments frequently praise the restaurant, the friendly staff and the convenience of the facilities.
Travelling with a dog? Book the pet-friendly accommodation in advance and request the dog-friendly beach area when making your reservation. The campsite also has a dedicated dog-washing area and access to the dog park in Ponente Park.
