“Hu Firenze Camping in Town exceededs expectations because it offers far more than a typical city campsite. My first recommendation is to visit Florence early in the morning. The city is quieter, temperatures are cooler and you'll enjoy shorter queues at major attractions. One of the most frequently praised features is the swimming pool complex. After spending hours exploring museums, churches and historic streets, returning to the campsite for an afternoon swim is incredibly refreshing. Many families alternate sightseeing days with pool-focused relaxation days. The campsite restaurant receives consistently positive feedback. While Florence offers exceptional dining, many guests appreciate having a convenient option available after a long day in the city. Try local Tuscan dishes and regional wines during your stay. If you're visiting during peak summer, purchase attraction tickets online before arrival. The Uffizi Gallery and Accademia Gallery can become extremely busy. Planning ahead makes a huge difference. For families, I recommend taking advantage of the excellent bus connections rather than driving into Florence. Parking can be expensive and difficult. It's a lot easier, more convenient and stress-free to take public transport from the campsite.”
