About Le Domaine La Yole

What do you get when a 4,000 m² water park, a sandy beach and a wine estate share one address? Domaine La Yole. This five-star Languedoc campsite sits where the Mediterranean meets the vineyards of the Pays d'Oc, on the border of the Aude and the Hérault, between Valras Plage and Vendres. Where will the kids spend their day? Probably in the water park, with giant slides, a tropical lagoon, a water playground and an indoor pool that keeps the fun going on cooler days. And when the sand calls, a pedestrian footpath leads you 500 m to the beach. Parents can slip away to the spa for whirlpools, a hammam and a sauna. The 4,000 m² water park is the beating heart of the holiday: giant slides, a tropical lagoon, a water playground, a paddling pool and two outdoor pools, plus a heated covered pool for cooler days. A solarium area with sun loungers invites you to dry off, lifeguards keep watch, and the area is accessible for guests with reduced mobility, with a wheelchair for entering the water. Everyone gets a personal wristband to wear at all times. Opening hours are 10:00-18:00 in April, May, June and September, and 09:00-20:00 in July and August. For swimwear, choose Speedo-style trunks or tight shorts; baggy bathing shorts are not allowed. Pool rules are displayed at the entrance.

Valras Plage beach lies just 500 m from the campsite, reached on foot by a pedestrian footpath. It is a free, public sandy beach with a gently sloping shore, ideal for little paddlers. Parasols and loungers can be rented on the sand. Dogs are not allowed on the beach next to the campsite, but are welcome near the port of Chichoulet.

Entertainment runs all season for all ages. Kids aged 5 to 12 can join the kids club for two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon, every day except Saturday, while teens have their own club. Evenings bring shows, and Sun Dances liven up the water park every afternoon. Two playgrounds, a games arcade, a merry-go-round, a trampoline and a discovery farm with rabbits and goats complete the programme.

Ask about kids club places on arrival; sessions run two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon, except Saturdays. Cooler day ahead?
