What does a Puglia holiday look like when the sea is practically on your doorstep? At Camping Internazionale Manacore it starts with the Bay of Manacore: a long sandy beach, white cliffs, Mediterranean scrub, trabucchi and Saracen towers. The campsite covers 25 hectares of hillside terraces shaded by pine, eucalyptus and acacia, so many corners come with a sea view.
Where will the children spend their days? Probably in the large panoramic pool, where a children's pool and slides keep little ones busy, or at the Mini Club and Junior Club. Teenagers have their own Teen Club, and in the evening the whole family heads for the amphitheatre for shows. Guests staying in a rental accommodation get pool entry and a Club card included, plus a beach set of umbrella, lounger and deckchair. That means you can walk down to the bay with just a towel.
And when everyone gets hungry? Two restaurants, a pizzeria, a snack bar, a beach bar and a well-stocked market keep the whole family fed. Gluten-free pasta and pizza are on the menu too. Between meals there are free football, volleyball, beach volleyball and basketball pitches, with tennis, padel and table tennis for a small fee.
Want to explore? The old town of Peschici is 9 km away and lively Vieste 13 km, both along the scenic SP52 coastal road. Gargano National Park starts right beside the campsite. Sun, sea, nature and fun in one place: that is why families keep Manacore on their shortlist for Puglia.
The heart of the campsite is a large outdoor pool of about 900 m², kidney-shaped and set up high with panoramic sea views. A children's pool with slides gives the little ones their own splashing zone. Pool entry is included for guests in rental accommodation. Sunbeds can be rented at the pool for €5 each per day, and a swimming cap is compulsory for everyone. The pool season runs from late May to late September, so you can swim with a view of the bay for most of the summer.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, wifi is available around the reception area at Camping Internazionale Manacore. It is a handy spot to check your route, share holiday photos or look up a day trip. The rest of your time is best spent outdoors, with the beach, the pool and the amphitheatre waiting for you.
Surroundings
Manacore sits on a hillside on the edge of Gargano National Park, where white cliffs drop to the sea and Mediterranean scrub scents the air. The bay is dotted with trabucchi, the traditional fishing platforms, and Saracen towers. Terraces under pine, eucalyptus and acacia trees give the campsite a leafy feel. The coastal road SP52 links the bay with Peschici, about 9 km away, and Vieste, about 13 km away. Between the two towns the countryside stays rural and the coastline wonderfully unspoilt.
“Ask for your beach set on arrival: umbrella, lounger and deckchair come with your rental, so the family can wander down to the bay with just towels.
Pack a swimming cap for everyone. It is compulsory in the pool, and having it ready means no delay on the first sunny morning.
Planning a poolside afternoon? Sunbeds there are €4 each per day, while your beach loungers are already included.
Peschici, 9 km away, is lovely in the early evening. Wander the old town first, then decide where to have dinner.
Drive the SP52 coastal road towards Vieste, 13 km away, in the late afternoon. The sea views are the reward.
Travelling gluten-free? Good news: pasta and pizza are available on site, so the whole table can share the same meal.
Save your evenings for the amphitheatre. Shows and animation run from late May to mid-September, and the children will insist on front-row seats.
Look for the trabucchi along the bay. These traditional fishing platforms make a great backdrop for family photos.
Keep €100 in cash ready at arrival for the deposit, and wear your campsite wristband throughout your stay.”
